As well as performing at numerous Theatres, corporate events and private parties, The Upbeat Beatles regularly provide the evening entertainment at hundreds of wedding receptions throughout the UK at venues such as Skibo Castle, The Café Royal, Claridges and Penshurst Place. We are also in constant demand overseas and have recently performed in exotic wedding locations such as Tuscany and Slovenia. So, making sure that this once in a lifetime occasion is a truly memorable occasion has become something of a speciality of ours.

The appeal of The Beatles spans the generations and our high-energy show, which concentrates mainly on the early ‘Mop Top’ years (but includes hits such as Love Me Do and She Loves You up to Hey Jude and Let It Be), is guaranteed to keep the dance floor filled with young and old alike!

We are also well versed in taking care of the entertainment for the whole evening and offer a complete package, including DJ. We have found from the many ‘Thank You’ messages from satisfied ‘happy couples’ (see ‘Comments’ page) that being able to leave the logistics of the entire evening to us was a huge weight off of their mind and enabled them to totally relax and enjoy their special day with family and friends.

This option is also helpful if there are space constraints at the venue (and there often are!) as less equipment is needed and setting up can be done quickly and quietly without any inconvenience to you or your guests. Our sound engineer and DJ, Mick, has been working with us for nearly 10 years and is vastly experienced in how to keep the party swinging! All you need to do is provide us with your ‘wish list’ of songs and bands (preferably by email –see below) and, of course, your requirements for the ever so special first dance. We’ll take care of the rest from there.

From our experience, this ‘all inclusive’ approach works well. Not only does it work out cheaper for you (it’s far more expensive to hire a band and a DJ separately), but it also ensures the whole evening is as seamless as possible. Please note that all of our equipment is PAT tested and we also supply radio microphones for speeches, etc. if required.

Bookings are confirmed by contract – no deposits are required. We are more than happy to pass on recent references on request (see ‘Comments’ page - updated monthly).
