The Upbeat Beatles Diary - January 2005

Hello everybody - Happy New Year! We hope you had a lovely Christmas. We did, and in spite of the fact that people generally seemed genuinely quite upset by the effects of the Tsunami, New Years Eve was still something of a night to remember! So thanks to everyone at the Severn Centre in Highley, Shropshire for creating such a great party atmosphere! In fact, the whole Christmas period was good for us, with loads of fantastic gigs including the Parlophone Christmas party, the Hilton and Holiday Inn's Christmas parties, Turkey & Tinsel at Warner Holidays [Bodelwyddan Castle, N. Wales and Bembridge Coast Hotel, IOW], Horwood House in Milton Keynes, 'Harry's Place' in Essex, and a great gig for Steve Wehrle at the BBC. Thanks to everyone at all the above for looking after us so well!

As mentioned in December's diary, we are in the process of confirming another three consecutive shows at the Theatre on the Steps in Bridgnorth later in the year. We'll keep you posted with regards to booking details.

Response to our new album of thirteen of our favourite Beatle tracks has been excellent! The next thing we're gearing up for is a video shoot as soon as our hectic schedule allows! By the way, you can order a copy of our CD by getting in touch with us through our contact page.

Bookings are looking extremely good now for the year ahead, so if any of you out there are thinking about, or even thinking about thinking about hiring the band to play your party, wedding, theatre, or any other type of function, now is the time to get in touch!
